Rosemary Edwards.
15

Rosemary Edwards was a very beautiful, intelligent and special girl. Rosemary commited suicide. It seems Rosemary went missing on the 4th of sept after an argument with family members about circumstances surrounding a job. It wasnt a massive row, and she went to her room. This was the last time she was seen. Rosemary's body was found hanging in the New forest by walkers on Sunday evening. Sadly Rosemary seems to have felt like there was nowhere to go or no one to help. Her family has been devastated and are stuggling to come to terms with the news. Rosemary was 15.

Hope your in a better place angel. Rest in Peace.x

Not involved but deeply moved all the same

Apologies for coming on here rather late, but I only just came across this story through a chance net search. I looked at the dates and realised I was abroad when it was in the news.

I've read over the story many times over the last few days, and more than once I've tried hard not to break into tears, especially when learning of the traumatic circumstances leading to this tragedy. If a total stranger can be so affected, I can barely imagine what Rosemary's family were and are going through. I hope that the passage of time has begun to heal your wounds and that you can find comfort in remembering Rose for the wonderful person she was.

Rosemary, we can never know what torment you were going through, but we know you are at peace now. You're probably looking down as I write, and realise now not only how much love you had FROM others, but how much you gave TO others. You will always be remembered as a wonderful daughter, sister and friend, and those who mourn your loss can take solace in the thought that you're not really gone, you've just found another place to ride free. Sorry if that sounds corny. RIP Rose

...

This is the first time i have written on any of these about Rose yet..
I didn't know her that well through secondary school, but in junior school i did, and even went to one of her birthday parties years ago..(i seem to remember you had chickens?..)
She was a really lovely girl, i still think about her every day & I know that so do many other people that she went to school with.Leaving school must have been so hard for her close friends, it wouldn't of felt the same without her.
I remember she did a short presentation about llamas in english at school which made me laugh.
My thoughts are with you still
Never forgotton

Sympathy

Amazingly and unfortunately I only came accross this story tonight and feel that the least I can do is offer my condolences.

A cousin of my fathers, a man with whom we both share the same name, took his own life nearly 15 years ago and a childhood friend of mine died after abusing gas only a few years ago so I can, if nothing else, understand the sudden loss you are feeling now.

Your tragic story is heartbreaking in every way and I only hope it prevents other similar tragedies in the future.

another beautiful angel

I too have lost not one but two daughters (same method as Rosemary's). My youngest Izzy last Nov. and only 8 weeks later, my daughter Anna.
My thoughts and prayers are with you all at this most dreadful time.
Kate, mum to beloved Isabel and Anna Borau (also on gonetoosoon). Those we love don't go away, they walk beside us everyday.

I am sorry to hear of theis tragedy. To the parents, remain strong. To the brother and sister, support one another, remain focused on your studies and look after your parents.

You were right not to mark her funeral in the conventional way, she is not dead, simply transferred from one life form to another.
